This route is also available as a Guided Walking Holiday.
A self-guided walking holiday along Glyndŵrs Way is a real escape - miles of quiet and beautiful countryside lie ahead on this horsesho-shaped route through wild Mid Wales. It's a landscape of green hills, open moorland and farms and offers a great mixture of scenery. Glyndẃrs Way does not attarct a large volume of walkers - we can't imagine why but it's no bad thing if you are looking for a peaceful 10-day hike, where the sound of the buzzards and the sheep isn't competing with hundreds of walkers to be heard!
This Welsh walking holiday is the ideal choice is you are a confident walker, preferably with some basic navigation skills. We do provide detailed route notes and maps, and since Glyndŵrs Way is a National Trail it is very well waymarked. However, the walk does include some upland sections where you may need to follow a compass bearing if the mist comes down. We don't tie you to set departure dates, leaving you free to choose when you would like to begin your Mid Wales walking adventure.
